BASIC INSTRUCTIONS – More instructions and videos can be found online on the forum and my dedicated Facebook Page, Kawasaki VN750 Stator Plate Mod.
Remove Main Engine Side Cover. Remove Stator.
Cut out required center. Use a dremel or scroll saw. Stay within the outer 3 bolt holes.
Grind down ribs on outer cover.
Grind down ribs on stator mount for room for the 3 spacers
Bolt Stator to the cutout center using 3 metric socket heads and spacers.
Bolt mod plate to the other side of the stator center cutout using the 3 metric button heads.
Use the 3 black long setscrews to align and hold the unit in place while you slip the outer cover over, replacing them one by one with the original screws.
